Job Title: Charge Design Engineer

Location: Glascoed, Pontypool, South Wales
Working Arrangements: 3 days a week onsite
Contract: 6-12 Months (37 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and evaluate propelling charges.
- Plan, conduct, and manage trials, ensuring safe and accurate execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to meet project timelines.
- Contribute to quality, risk management, and lifecycle processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
- 3+ years in the Chemical Engineering industry.
- Experience with hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of gun propellants and the design process.
- Experience in mathematical modelling and systems engineering.
- Advanced data analysis and report writing skills.
