Process Engineer
Based: Glascoed – BAE systems
Hourly Rate: TBC
37 Hours per week
  
Are you a skilled Process Engineer with a passion for manufacturing innovation?

We are partnering with BAE Systems to recruit multiple Process Engineers to join their team at the Glascoed site, supporting exciting defence and engineering programmes.
  
Roles and rates will vary.
  
The Job
  
  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes from concept through to commissioning and qualification.
  • Support process design, risk management, and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Specify and qualify new equipment, ensuring alignment with safety and industry standards.
  • Lead and support process reviews, continuous improvement initiatives, and safe systems of work.
  • Maintain detailed process documentation and manage data in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders to ensure effective process delivery
  
  
Skills
  • Proven experience in manufacturing process development and system integration
  • Solid understanding of Lean principles, PFMEAs, process controls, and automated production systems
  • Strong technical base, initiative, and ability to manage workloads under pressure
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and general digital tools
