Key Responsibilities
- Provide trusted advice and guidance to managers on ER topics including discipline, grievances, performance, absence, and investigations
- Manage ER casework from initial enquiry to resolution
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and best practice
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings both technical ER expertise and the confidence to navigate challenging workplace issues. The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience managing a high-volume ER advisory caseload
- Strong knowledge of employment law, ACAS Code of Practice, and regulatory compliance
- At least 2 years' experience in HR, ideally with some time in an advisory or operational role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with business stakeholders
- Confidence in handling difficult conversations and sensitive matters
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and growth mindset
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider HR team
