The Job
- Planning, implementing, and processing exports of military equipment in line with current legislation
- Ensuring compliance with UK trade controls, delivery terms, and internal governance requirements
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, customers, and external bodies such as freight forwarders
- Supporting accurate reporting and escalation of issues related to import/export operations
- Maintaining awareness of financial implications during export processes
Skills
- At least 2 years’ experience in import/export or freight forwarding
- Solid working knowledge of international trade regulations and techniques
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel
