Contract: 12 Months
Based: Samlesbury, Lancashire
You be responsible for the efficient and compliant movement of goods into the UK, supporting delivery across our Air Sector programmes, including US and Europe & International operations. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, freight forwarders, and HMRC to ensure accurate, cost-effective, and timely import operations that align with national and international regulations

The Job
- Coordinating the import of products and equipment in compliance with customs regulations
- Raising customs clearance instructions for freight agents to ensure smooth goods movement
- Managing import documentation and declarations to HMRC accurately and on time
- Resolving delivery issues by liaising with internal teams, agents, and external stakeholders
- Applying and maintaining knowledge of customs procedures, tariffs, duty relief schemes, and licensing requirements
- Acting as a primary contact for import-related enquiries
Skills
- At least 2 years’ experience in import/export or freight forwarding
- Solid working knowledge of international trade regulations and techniques
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel
