Export Officer

Rate: £21.38 PAYE or £28.63 Umbrella inside IR35
Contract: 12 Months
Based: Samlesbury, Lancashire
As part of BAE Systems’ Export team, you will play a key role in delivering Air Sector assets to international customers, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. This is your chance to contribute to vital international export and import operations while building valuable experience in a fast-paced and complex environment
The Job
- Support the physical delivery of Air Sector assets to international customers
- Manage all export documentation required by HMRC
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation affecting export processes
- Contribute to reporting and escalate export-related issues when required
- Support good governance, compliance and effective administrative processes
Skills
- Strong understanding of international trade matters
- Experience applying import/export techniques
- Awareness of legal and regulatory requirements for exporting goods
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritise multiple enquiries
