We are seeking an experienced Principal Fire Safety Advisor to support major new build and refurbishment projects within a high-hazard engineering environment at BAE Systems.
The Role
You will act as the fire safety subject matter expert, providing fire strategy input, fire risk assessments and technical assurance across the full project lifecycle from concept through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead fire safety input across construction and refurbishment projects
- Produce and review fire strategies and fire risk assessments
- Review drawings and technical documentation
- Provide expert fire safety advice to project teams
- Ensure compliance with fire safety legislation and standards
Essential Experience
- Fire safety engineering within a regulated or high-hazard environment
- Complex fire risk assessments and fire strategy development
- Knowledge of BS 9999 and Approved Document B
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant STEM degree or equivalent industry experience
- Fire safety engineering background
