L&D Advisor
Location: Barrow-in-Furness
Client: BAE Systems – Submarines
Contract: 12 months, 37 hrs per week
Working Pattern: 3–5 days on-site per week
Rate: £35.55 PAYE / £47.86 Umbrella per hour
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced L&D Advisor to join a small, collaborative HR team (5 members) supporting a major submarine build programme.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support programme activities by introducing and embedding knowledge transfer processes across the Submarines business
- Engage with skilled employees to facilitate the transfer of their knowledge to others
- Track, maintain and measure knowledge transfer outcomes
- Identify key knowledge holders and encourage their participation
- Develop structured knowledge assets (videos, written processes, lessons, etc.)
- Conduct regular stakeholder engagement and manage progress tracking
- Proven Learning & Development experience
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching skills
- Excellent analytical ability – data and information heavy
- Highly organised, methodical, and logical approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Able to manage progress tracking and reporting
