Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance on powered weaving equipment to ensure maximum efficiency.
- React promptly to technical issues reported by Weavers to minimise machine downtime.
- Support ongoing machine performance improvements aligned with KPIs in quality, safety, and productivity.
- Log all maintenance work for traceability.
- Perform bench repairs and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager, Senior Technician, and Weaving Team.
- Contribute to monthly engineering meetings and risk assessments.
- Solid mechanical background and confident with hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an inquisitive, methodical approach.
- Ability to manage workload independently and follow technical instruction.
- Excellent communication skills for clear shift handovers and team collaboration.
- Comfortable working at height and in a physically demanding role.
- Willingness to work unsociable hours/shifts as required.
- Basic computer literacy.
