Overview
BAE Systems Maritime Services is seeking a Material Coordinator to ensure that all materials and tooling required for service orders and operational work are identified, kitted, and ready for production. This role is integral to supporting work enablement across various platforms and ensuring timely delivery aligned with the production schedule.

BAE Systems Maritime Services is seeking a Material Coordinator to ensure that all materials and tooling required for service orders and operational work are identified, kitted, and ready for production. This role is integral to supporting work enablement across various platforms and ensuring timely delivery aligned with the production schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure correct materials and tooling are allocated to work orders for first-time execution.
- Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and asset management teams to prepare materials in line with production schedules.
- Manage the kitting and delivery of materials to laydown and dispatch areas.
- Resolve material and tooling issues promptly using the Work Management Tool and established processes.
- Maintain and monitor consumable containers and line-side feeds.
- Conduct material usage reviews in collaboration with Production Planners and supply chain to improve future planning.
- Support accurate parts data management in the ERP system and provide feedback on delivery discrepancies.
- Strong understanding of ship repair production methods and safe working practices.
- Experience in logistics, material coordination, or planning within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and task planning tools.
- Confident problem-solver with a proactive, collaborative approach.
