Material Planner
Desford | £18.81 per hour PAYE | ⏳ 12-Month Contract | Likely Extension
Looking for your next opportunity in Supply Chain & Materials Planning?
We're recruiting a Material Planner to join the facility, supporting increased production volumes and ensuring materials are delivered on time to keep manufacturing moving.
What you'll be doing:
✅ Managing a portfolio of suppliers
✅ Building strong supplier relationships
✅ Monitoring supplier performance and material availability
✅ Solving supply chain challenges to support production plans
✅ Working cross-functionally with multiple internal teams
✅ Supporting continuous improvement projects
What we're looking for:
✔ 2-3 years' Supply Chain, Materials Planning or Logistics experience
✔ Strong supplier management skills
✔ Excellent problem-solving ability
✔ Good understanding of supply chain processes
✔ Excel skills (Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs desirable)
✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management
Predominantly site-based in Desford
Flexible start times between 06:30-08:00
Occasional opportunities to visit suppliers across the UK
