Overview

Responsibilities
- Producing high- and low-level network designs
- Building and configuring solutions involving radios, hardware, and software
- Integrating Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) technologies
- Applying systems engineering best practices
- Fault finding and resolving technical issues in development environments
- Creating clear and concise technical documentation
- Reporting progress and collaborating with team members and leadership
- Conducting testing and verification against requirements
Skills & Experience
- Installation and configuration of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks
- Understanding of routing protocols (e.g. OSPF, EIGRP, RIP)
- Experience producing technical documentation
- Network design experience to meet customer requirements
- Ability to work independently
- Virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Linux KVM)
- Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows
- Systems integration and rig management
