Senior Product Manager (Contract)
£500–£550 per day (Inside IR35)
Onsite in Cardiff – 5 days per week
Initial 3-month contract
  
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Product Manager to join a globally distributed team undergoing significant transformation. This is a high-impact role with full ownership across the product lifecycle, supporting a major, strategically important programme.
You will play a key role in delivering a next-generation product to replace an existing solution within a well-established portfolio.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Lead product strategy and delivery for a critical new product programme
• Define what will be delivered and when, ensuring alignment across stakeholders
• Take ownership of the full product lifecycle in a complex, regulated environment
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions
• Operate within a predominantly Waterfall delivery model, with some sprint-based activity between stage gates.

  
Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager in a complex environment
• Strong background working within highly regulated industries
• Experience with both hardware and software product development, including electronics
• Comfortable working within a matrix organisation
• Backgrounds from sectors such as:
• Automotive manufacturing
• Aerospace
• Other safety-critical or regulated industries

Note: Medical device experience is not required.

Working Environment

• Fully onsite role (5 days per week)
