Shared Services EMEA Transition Specialist
Pay: £500-£600 per day- Umbrella
Contract Length: 6 Months 
Location: London
Hybrid working- 2 days onsite per week
Start: ASAP
 
Role Overview:
The Shared Services EMEA Transition Specialist is responsible for managing the transition of services and processes into a central PX team within the EMEA region. This role ensures smooth and efficient transitions, minimizes risks, and maintains service quality throughout the process. The Transition Specialist will oversee and manage the HR transformation project, ensuring the successful transition of HR tasks from various locations to a centralized HR hub. The role involves detailed analysis, planning, and implementation of transition phases while building a strong central team and creating a clear methodology for future transitions.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Developing Transition Plans: Creating detailed plans that outline activities, timelines, resources, and dependencies for transitioning services into a shared services model
  • Managing Change: Leading the assessment and integration of changes within the HRIS infrastructure or other relevant systems to ensure service excellence
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as a key point of contact, providing regular updates and facilitating stakeholder meetings to ensure smooth transitions. Stakeholders include local Finance/HR Directors, HR Managers, HRBPs, PX Consultants / Advisors, Senior Director PX, People Tech, Payroll and Benefits teams.
  • Operational Readiness: Ensuring that all support teams are prepared and capable of supporting new and changed services
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks associated with the transition and developing mitigation strategies
  • Quality Assurance: Maintaining high standards in transition processes and documenting all activities for audits and training
  • Reporting: Providing regular updates on project status, identifying risks, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Service Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of new and updated services into live operations
  • Knowledge Transfer: Facilitating knowledge transfer to the shared services team to ensure they can effectively manage the transitioned services
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of transition processes and tools
  • Analysis and Preparation: Reviewing current processes and metrics to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Transition Implementation: Developing and refining process maps for each transition phase and collaborating with stakeholders to agree on organizational structures and resource alignment
  • Project Management: Documenting lessons learned and ensuring smooth handover to Business-As-Usual (BAU) operations
 
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience in Shared Services: Proven experience in transitioning services into a shared services environment
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with various stakeholders
  • Change Management: Experience in managing and implementing change within an organization
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of relevant technologies and systems, such as Workday and ServiceNow
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during the transition process
  • EMEA Experience: Understanding of the EMEA region and its specific business and regulatory landscape
  • Expertise in HR Transformation: Expertise in HR transformation and process improvement
  • Organizational Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Collaboration: Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Transition Methodologies: Experience in developing transition methodologies and managing phased implementations
