Project Manager Business Analyst
Contract: 6 Months
Based: Remote – with some travel to Barrow
Hourly Rate: £52.93 PAYE or £71.45 Umbrella inside IR35
 37 Hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager / Business Analyst to join the BAE Systems Enterprise IT Transformation team, working on a critical Submarines Cyber Work Transfer Project. This project is a key enabler of Project Perseus, our major IT transformation programme.
  
Skills:
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst within large, complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of cyber security and IT transformation projects
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • A resilient and proactive approach to working in high-pressure environments
  
The Job
  • Develop, maintain, and report progress against the project plan
  • Lead governance activities, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved
  • Manage scope changes, re-baselining, and stakeholder expectations
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive requirements catalogue and ensure traceability through to delivery
  • Act as a Business Analyst, supporting process definition and documentation
  • Drive service delivery to meet agreed targets and KPIs
  • Promote ITIL good practice and continuous service improvement
  • Lead and contribute to operational reviews and performance reporting
  • Collaborate with the Transition Manager to ensure smooth project delivery
