Senior Project Delivery Professional – BAE Systems
Location: Warton
Contract: 12 Months
Rate: £41.85 per hour PAYE or £56.41 via umbrella (inside IR35)
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Working Pattern: Minimum 3 days onsite per week
Security: BPSS & SC in progress

The Opportunity BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Project Delivery Professional to support a number of projects within the Air Sector at Warton.

The successful candidate will work within multi-disciplinary teams, helping ensure projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Control and monitor projects, reporting progress against plan.
Work with customers, subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve project deliverables.
Manage emerging project risks and opportunities.
Support bid and tendering activities.
Develop estimates for bids, budgets and cost-to-completion.
Review and evaluate spend-to-date data.
Build strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
Ensure customer and business requirements are met.

Essential Experience

Experience in a similar role working on complex projects.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
Experience managing project delivery across time, cost and quality.

Desirable:

Experience working within a complex environment.
Degree or equivalent experience in a business-related subject.
Formal project management qualification or working towards one.

Defence/aerospace experience is not essential.
Additional Information The role requires a minimum of 3 days onsite at Warton, with this potentially increasing depending on the project.
