Job Title: Procurement Engineer
Location: On-site (3 days per week: Tuesday–Thursday)
Working Pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week (Monday–Friday)
About the Role We are looking for a proactive and organised Procurement Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing supplier relationships, maintaining the order book, and ensuring suppliers deliver to agreed commitments.
Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business, you will support the effective delivery of procurement activities while helping to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with procurement experience who enjoys stakeholder engagement, supplier management, and working in a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the purchase order lifecycle, including raising orders, resolving queries, and maintaining forecast delivery dates
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure delivery against commitments through regular communication
- Support supplier performance reviews and improvement activities
- Assist with customer reviews where required
- Manage financial processes relating to purchase orders and payments
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain an accurate and effective order book
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of Microsoft Office capability, particularly Excel
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate IT systems
- Experience using ERP/MRP systems and reporting tools
- CIPS qualification (or currently working towards it)
- Monday – Thursday: 06:30 – 19:00
- Friday: 06:30 – 12:30
