Material Planner
Location: Desford
Contract: 12-month rolling contract
Hourly Rate: Up to £25 per hour Umbrella
Start Date: January 2026
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon–Thu 08:00–16:30, Fri 08:00–13:30)
Working Arrangements: On-site, Monday to Friday
About the Role
You’ll work closely with suppliers, build strong working relationships, and support a number of ongoing projects (details shared on start). This role is a backfill position and plays a key part in maintaining smooth material flow across operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material availability
- Support production scheduling and capacity planning
- Maintain accurate data across MRP and internal systems
- Build effective communication channels with stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas)
- Confident communicator and good team player
- Flexible, open-minded and eager to learn
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, planning or similar
- Degree in Supply Chain or related field (desirable)
