Location: Barrow in Furness
Hourly Rate: (£47 PAYE and £63.40 Umbrella) INSIDE IR35
Details: 6 Months, 37 hours per week
Working Arrangements: Full time Onsite
Overview
A role within Test & Commissioning, supporting multiple projects to ensure material availability. You will lead a project management team of seven, assessing scope, solving problems, and allocating work effectively. The role involves liaising with stakeholders across several contracts, presenting project progress in meetings, escalating issues and risks, and working closely with engineering to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess project scope, allocate work, and apply advanced problem-solving skills.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks using appropriate PM tools and methods (predictive or agile). Agree project approaches with stakeholders, prepare realistic plans, and track progress against schedule.
- Produce advanced project reporting and scheduling.
- Manage the full project lifecycle to ensure customer needs are met and benefits realised.
- Lead projects of varying complexity and apply lifecycle management where required.
- Perform administrative duties, including spreadsheets and Microsoft Office.
- Deputise for the Project Manager when required.
- Lead a team of up to seven.
- Work collaboratively with engineering to deliver projects in line with programme milestones.
- Support the development and implementation of tailored PM practices as part of the PM team.
- Provide technical support to team members.
- Ensure PM practices within assigned projects are fit for purpose.
- Review and allocate project scope
