Shipping Administrator
Location: Peterborough
Contract Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)
Estimated Start Date: January 2026
Working Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:00, Friday 08:00–15:30 (some flexibility on start/finish times)
Pay Rate: Up to £16.05 PAYE per hour
Work Arrangement: Fully site-based

Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily coordination and tracking of shipments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate shipping data and documentation.
- Assist in resolving issues or delays proactively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping team.
- Use Microsoft Office tools—particularly Excel—for data management and reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- No formal degree or certification required.
- Prior experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related environment is beneficial but not essential—the focus is on soft skills and team fit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required.
- Proactive and able to work from own initiative.
- Strong multitasking and workload prioritisation skills.
- Effective team player with good communication skills.
